| this was my first weekend of being 17 and it was fun i guess. on saturday i went to the mall with biggs and bonnie and it seemed like everyone from huffmn was there; james, david, morgan, stephen, josh dowies and some drill team girls. today the three of us went to the art festival downtown and there were some pretty good booths there and some good music. came back here and watched the family guy movie (7th time for me but it's still hilarious).
found out Laura fell and hit her head on her bed and she has a mild concussion. I've been worried about that for the past couple days but she seemed alright when I talked to her so that was a relief.

| Washington called today......they need me and being the patriot I am, I gladly accepted the call for national security.
So yeah, out of the 435 nominees throughout the country I was chosen to be one of 66 to become pages in Washington for the Spring of 06. So guess what? THat's going to be 4 months without Travis in Huffman. Now please, hold your applause. You'll have to put up with me untill January before I actually leave.
Anyway Cloud IX is actually working good again and hopefully will have initial recordings started by the end of the week. So yeah here's hoping everything goes good with that.

| The scariest feeling hit me today at the jazz band concert when Mr. Stuart introduced me, "Travis Trawick who is now a junior." I can't believe two years have already gone by. I know I've matured but it doesn't feel like it. I've made it a major goal this summer to improve several major flaws in me and hopefully people won't mind being around me starting next year. Well there's actually a lot going on right now but I'll save that for another time when I actually start posting again. This was kinda the "yeah I still have a livejournal" posts.

| It's weird last night night I decided to get all my David Sanborn songs and for some reason and then today at lunch we were talking about him, now that's all i've been listening to all day. He is awesome.
anyway, life is life. nothing out of the ordinary. Laura's coming down this weekend so I'm real excited about that. things really haven't changed a bit for me. it's starting to dawn on me i might just be another average person (for me a horrible thought). I got a good life, but nothing that really stands me out from anyone else. musically i'm far from the top, i'm not really all that funny but i can't bring myself to be serious. social wise I'm still a little akward around people. i hate morons but i'm nothing much of an intelligent person. there's something out there i just haven't found it i guess. I'm just counting down the days till I get out of this town so i can get the new part of my life. New people, new opportunities, new surroundings, a whole new life. I can finally leave the useless thing called highschool. until then I'm going to enjoy every little bit of it.
Class of 07: as of the end of school thursday march 31st, we now have 400 school days till graduation. (yea I'm that bored lol)

| i just realised it's been over a month since I last updated. I guess I just don't have all that much to talk about. Well biggs got my rc car working finally today so i didn't waste a hundred bucks.
As of right now Cloud IX has two possible gigs but neither one is anywhere close to here, so maybe we can get a little outside exposure. well i really don't have much to say, hope everyone has had a good spring break. cya monday

| haven't updated in a while. i dunno, just don't have much to say really anymore about anything. my life is going great, better than ever. I've solved all those typical teenage problems already: I know who i am, i know exactly what I stand for and believe in, i know who the people i need are, i know where i'm going in life. School's been better than ever (even if i did make a 73 in band hehe). My life is right where I thought I could only imagine at this point and i can sit back, relax and take the time to absorb life to its fullest as it goes by. | damn it......
after a long time of searching i had finally found a girl that honestly really cared for me that i wanted to be with. Laura just told me tonight that because of a possible job offer they might be moving to dallas. basically ANOTHER 2 1/2 hours away (5 hours from here). my mom wants me to end this relationship now (she said she never really believed it'd actually work) but i have no intentions on that. i want this to work so badly, i care for her so much but i dunno.........it's going to be really hard. | hey everyone it's christmas eve if you didn't know. This year my family
and i didn't really focus on presents. i got some drum set stuff
earlier this month and that's about it. As for my mom, i'm going to
stay up all night after she goes to sleep and clean up the entire house
for her. For the past 16 years that's what she's told me she's ever
wanted. I think she'll like it.
We're going to spend the rest of the day out at my grandma's house like
we do about every year.
Every year the excitment leading up to Christmas day wears off quicker
until it almost feels like just another day but the feeling I get with
spending time with my mom and dad at denny's every year has never gone
away. I know this may sound so stupid and something everyone would say
but in all honesty the presents stop being that big a deal and just
almost a distraction for what i truely enjoy about this day. Plus
celebrating the birth of my savior whether or whether not it truely was
December 25th or June something like I heard from somewhere else who
cares? Celebrating something like that should be everyday and not just
12/25.
Someone else also celebrates a birthday tomorrow. even though I know she can't read this, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!!!! I miss you.
